About Us

Mission Statement of CISS

To support the enhancement of the quality of life for people with autism and other developmental disabilities, their families and their communities by delivering programs with compassion, generosity of spirit and excellence!

CISS, Inc. is a locally run 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2001. CISS, Inc. was selected to receive a start-up grant award from Regional Center of the East Bay to open a day program and a residential program. Selection was based upon management experience and on the program curriculum design for serving people with developmental disabilities.

CISS Staff

John Farman
The Executive Director has extensive experience in developing strategic business plans, fundraising, team building and business leadership and management.



Jechane Reyes
The Day Program Director has extensive experience developing successful vocational and recreational programs for adults with developmental disabilities.



Edith Macklin
The Residential Program Administrator has extensive experience in developing successful crisis as well as behavioral management programs for children with moderate to severe developmental disabilities.



Gina Nunes
Our Vocational Counselors and Direct Support Personnel go through a thorough and rigorous training program. All are certified in CPR, first aid and behavioral management clinical practices.
