Welcome! CISS is a dynamic and growing organization! Our success and growth is a direct result of our talented and loyally committed staff and managers. We are governed by an extraordinary board of directors with well over fifty years of combined experience in the field of autism and other developmental disabilities.

All of our programs at CISS have at their heart to provide high quality services and affirmative and meaningful experiences for the consumers we offer support. Our collective goal is to increase interdependence in community life. We recognize that every life in our community is, by definition, interdependent, filled with trusting relationships and empowered by the collective wisdom of families, friends, co-workers, and even people we do not know.

The spirit of our organization acknowledges that everyone has unrecognized abilities and gifts. We all have various limitations, but no human is completely disabled. It is important to recognize that how we refer to people has much to do with how we treat them. At CISS, we put into action the philosophy that there are no disabled people, only people with unrecognized abilities. We design all of our programs to nurture and to bring out the spirit that all people have some contribution to make to the communities that we serve. It is important to “give back” to our communities through the dignity of work.

CISS enjoys a good relationship with our local Regional Center and with Community Care Licensing. If you are a case manager or social worker, we welcome your interest and referrals to our organization. If you are a parent or guardian of a child or adult with autism or other developmental disabilities, please call us to arrange for a visit of our facilities.
